Starting with wed July 7th and continuing weekly on Wednesday nights, classes will be held at Celestial Mesa from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the main room. Please use the RSVP form on this page to join us.
Class starts with a welcoming meet and mingle to allow individuals to connect with the conscious community. Please use this opportunity to connect with others and select a dance partner.
Next participants will assemble for a centering guided meditation period followed by stretching and a movement activating warm up. Participants can expect to be introduced to new and abnormal methods of flow and movement. Involving traditional capoeira techniques as well as contemporary martial arts, acrobatics, and flow exercises. All lead with musical instruction. On occasions when permitted, the group will embark upon the playing of "the game" with a "roda".
Thereafter participants will lead into ecstatic dance and free flow movement. One of our resident DJs will be spinning the grooviest of world, dubstep, house, bass and fusion.
To be mindful of participants’ and students' health and progress a class discussion is held after class with time for students to ask questions and provide feedback. Register now to join us! We look forward to seeing you.
